When the need to majorly organize your closet for the first time or after a few years or months comes, it is better is you have some extra time to spare as the task can take you a little longer. You have to take everything from your closet and put all of them in a place where you can take time to inspect each of them, like on top of your bed. Pick the clothes that you usually wear and set it aside from the ones that you haven’t worn since last year or a couple of months ago.

Inspect your old clothes or the clothes that you haven’t tried on for a long time to see if there are any damages. If those clothes are still good set them aside but do not mix them with the ones you usually wear. If you haven’t worn a dress or suit for a long time, there is a chance that you won’t be using it anymore even if you think it is still good when you know that you still have your current clothes to choose from. Consider putting your old clothes on a yard sale, this way, you can earn money at the same time, save more closet space.
